The penultimate shot of the ‘Golden Brick Road set. These are the remains of Dunhill Castle, sacked by Oliver Cromwell in the mid-18th Century…

BTW full details of its location can be found for this (and any picture) by placing the cursor over the image. Have a nice weekend!

Fantastic vertical shot George! The winding road, the rising hill top castle and strong cloud lines make this a powerful moving composition, with the moody gold tinting icing on the cake! What a masterful golden series this has been… you certainly have the Midas touch :^)

A beautifully composed landscape. I like the dynamics of the road and the clouds, which bring so much energy to the picture. It’s like taken in a different world.

The upward thrust from the road leading in, and out through the sky has created an absolutely fantastic effect!

You have some beautiful areas to photograph, george! I can see myself on a horse, quietly working my way along that road to the top of the hill and coming home to that castle! The view would be fantastic! :)

By an amazing coincidence I was standing right here yesterday! But I didn’t see any of that magic! Fantastic composition and light, you really have caught a fairy tale quality to it:~)
